PIKL, LLC (“PIKL,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides this Privacy Policy to explain how we collect, use, and share the information of individuals who visit our website at www.pikl.ai (the “Site”) or interact with the PIKL platform and app (the “Platform”) (collectively, the “Services”).

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When using our Services, you may provide information about yourself, including your name, contact information, and any other information you choose to provide. For example, we collect this information when you join our email list, contact us, or interact with us for any other purpose. We may also collect your billing information if you have a paid PIKL subscription.

We (and other entities) may automatically collect certain information relating to your interactions with us and our Services, including IP address, operating system, browser type, pages and content viewed, device type, and date and time of visits through the use of cookies and similar technologies. See the “Digital Advertising & Analytics” section of this privacy policy to learn more about the use of this information and the choices available to you.

When Using the Platform When using the Platform, we may collect additional information depending on your role:

  • Candidates: Individuals seeking temporary or permanent employment through PIKL.

  • Clients: Representatives of organizations seeking to hire temporary or permanent employees through PIKL.

  • Agencies: Representatives of hiring agencies that identify, hire, and manage Candidates on behalf of Clients.

For all Platform users, we collect first name, last name, email address, and log-in information when you create an account. If you are a Candidate, we may additionally collect your address, resume, any relevant credentials, your profile photo, the time you clock-in and clock-out of a job, and, with your consent, your geolocation information. If you are an Agency or a Client, we may also collect information associated with your employer, including company name, Employer ID Number, and company address. In addition, the PIKL Platform allows users to communicate with one another; if you use these features, we may collect the contents of your communications.

HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We may use the information we collect for any lawful purpose, including the following:  To provide the services you request through the Platform, including connecting Agencies and Clients with Candidates that appear to meet their needs and preferences;  To operate, personalize, and improve the Services, including for analytics purposes;  To register and service your account;  To contact you in response to questions and solicit feedback and input from you;  To send you updates and marketing materials about new features of the Services, special events, or products, services, and special offers, or other information that we believe may be of interest to you;  To comply with the law and to protect the safety and integrity of the Services and PIKL users; and  With your consent or as otherwise disclosed at the time information is collected.

HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION

We may share information we collect with various third parties, including the following:

  • If you are a Candidate, with Agencies and Clients to allow them to evaluate your profile, communicate with you, and administer jobs;

  • If you are a Client, with your Agency and Candidates to allow them to communicate with you, and administer jobs;

  • If you are an Agency, with Clients and Candidates to allow them to review your profile, communicate with you, and administer your jobs;

  • To display testimonials of and other endorsements on the Site or in marketing materials;

  • With vendors who perform services for PIKL, such as email providers, payment processors, and data hosting services;

  • With law enforcement, government agencies, courts, and/or other organizations pursuant to a subpoena, court order, governmental inquiry, or other legal process; or as otherwise required by law to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding possible illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the health or physical safety of any person; or to protect the rights and property of any person or entity;

  • With our affiliates, subsidiaries, business partners, and joint venture partners for their own purposes, including for marketing purposes;

  • As party of a corporate sale, merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, including as part of a bankruptcy proceeding; and

  • With your consent or as otherwise disclosed at the time of collection or sharing.

We may share information that has been de-identified or aggregated without limitation.

DIGITAL ADVERTISING & ANALYTICS

We may partner with ad networks and other ad serving providers (“Advertising Providers”) that serve ads on behalf of us and others on non-affiliated platforms. Some of those ads may be personalized, meaning that they are intended to be relevant to you based on information Advertising Providers collect about your use of the Services and other sites or apps over time, including information about relationships among different browsers and devices. This type of advertising is known as interest-based advertising. PIKL uses Google Analytics to improve the performance of the Services and for analytics and marketing purposes. YOUR COMMUNICATION CHOICES

You can opt out of email marketing messages by following the “unsubscribe” link included at the bottom of each of these messages. Additionally, if you have an account with us, you can opt-out of email marketing messages by adjusting your PIKL account settings. If you opt out of our email marketing, we will still send you messages related to our transactions and relationship with you, such as information about job postings. If you have an account with us, you also have the option to opt out of receiving certain other emails from PIKL, such as certain educational emails, by adjusting your account settings. If you have opted in to receive SMS messages from us but would now like to opt out, you may do so by adjusting your settings in your account settings or replying STOP.

UPDATING INFORMATION

You can update certain of your information by logging into your account and accessing your account settings. If you no longer wish to participate on our Platform, you may close your account directly through your account settings. If you close your account, we may delete any or all of your account information, and may retain certain information related to you if we believe it may be necessary to prevent fraud or future abuse, or for legitimate business purposes, such as account recovery, auditing our records, enforcing our rights and obligations under our agreements, or if required by law.

HOW WE PROTECT INFORMATION

We have implemented appropriate administrative, technical, and physical security measures designed to protect the information we collect.

THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND TOOLS

The Platform and Services may contain links to third-party websites and services. We do not control the privacy practices of those websites or apps, and they are not covered by this privacy policy. You should review the privacy policies of other websites or apps that you use to learn about their data practices. Our Services include social media features and “plug-ins,” such as social networking tools offered by third parties. If you use these tools to share personal information or you otherwise interact with these features on the Services, those companies may collect information about you and may use and share such information in accordance with your account settings, including by sharing such information with the general public. If you use these tools to share personal information or you otherwise interact with these features of the Services, those companies may collect information about you and may use and share such information in accordance with your account settings, including by sharing such information with the general public.
